Study commissioned 2007, 1st place: The site is on the former warehouse area of “Mechanische Ziegelei” (brickworks) in Oberwil, BL. The project tries to create a dialogue with the existing development of the brickworks and, through its morphology, the link with the detached houses.
Five large and compact structures furnish the former warehouse area and showcase the main value of the viewing platform with the views and outlooks. The artificially created terrain is picked out as a central theme and developed further.
