Loci Architecture

Loci’s completed and on-going projects include higher education facilities, community centers, multi-family housing, charter schools, private residences, and building restorations. Working together as a team is our method for delivering strong design and excellent results. We are invested in developing our staff’s professional skills, showing them a clear path to success within the firm, and enriching their careers in architecture.

We expect you to be a leader within our team and contribute to the growth of the firm. You will be involved in all project phases, including client presentations, the development of creative design solutions, preparation of accurate and thorough contract documents, working closely with contractors to achieve high quality built projects, and managing clients through the entire process.

Following is a summary of our preferred profile for candidates:

Either licensed or actively working towards licensure to practice architecture in New York State
At least five years overall experience in New York City architectural offices since earning a professional degree and at least three years preparing contract documents in CAD
A Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree in the United States or equivalent degree earned in a foreign country
LEED Green Associate, LEED AP, or Passive House certified
Experience with the New York City Building Code, Zoning Resolution, Energy Code, and DOB filing documents and procedures
Additional experience in space planning, zoning analysis, and feasibility studies is a plus.
